



| Description: The project comprises approximately 12 warehouse-type units with associated private driveways and utilities. The site covers 5.8 acres and is categorized as light industrial/commercial. The project is located in Business Center II of the EastLake II Planned Community District of the CIty of Chula Vista. Scope of Services: Performed a boundary and topographic survey. Prepared a design review site plan and tentative map. Provided on-site final design, including preparation of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, final parcel map, and easement documentation. Construction phase services consisted of construction support, as-built drawing preparation, and setting of final monumentation.
Challenges & Achievements: - Many of the buildings sit on the property lines. Lotting and building positioning was critical.
- The site was designed to carry surface run-off to inlets at the entrances in order to reduce storm drain while keeping grades low and the necessity for retaining walls to a minimum.
All storm water run-off is cleaned on-site by fossil filter inlet inserts. |
