Description

The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and construction of the North Metro Interceptor Project - Phase 2, requiring the construction of 4,440 linear feet of 114-inch reinforced concrete pipe, PVC-lined (PLRCP) in tunnel and 352 linear feet of 114-inch PLRCP in open cut, concrete encasement with PVC liner of 150 linear feet of existing 96-inch RCP sewer, 90 linear feet of 18-inch PVC, one junction structure, two manholes, handling and disposal of hazardous waste, fiber optic conduit, and all appurtenant work necessary for the complete and operable facilities.

Scope of Services

Survey construction staking for 114" plastic lined reinforced concrete interceptor sewer, 4,400 feet of tunnel under existing landfill and least tern nesting area, and 400 feet of open cut sewer and junction structures. Efforts included retracement of horizontal and vertical control, topographic survey of existing parking lot for reconstruction upon project completion, open-cut sewer stakes, tunnel entrance and exit shaft stakes, as-builts of surface instrumentation, daily settlement monitoring at area of influence of tunnel operation, horizontal and vertical control for tunneling, and pipe joint staking within tunnel per manufacturer’s lay sheets.
